Trakr Update: 3rd December 2007
This week I have been working on getting the user system working and a basic design for Trakr.
I have built a register form, login form, edit settings and edit sources form. All of which can be seen on the Trakr web site.
A few improvements I would like to make to the user system are:
- E-mail validation, e.g. sending an e-mail to the user with a link which they have to click to verify their e-mail address
- Mobile validation, e.g. for updating a micro blog on trakr via a text message
- Profile pictures
- Validating source usernames to make sure they are valid
The design is very basic at the moment, but provides a good usable base for me to expand upon once I get more of the functionality working.
This week, I hope to continue with the above improvements and start work on the friends system.
