Proposal

After an initial meeting with the client, we found out that the client wanted a micro site within a few weeks that he could use at an upcoming conference. We focused our efforts on this to begin with and created a flash micro site with brief information about the product. We then created a content managed web site with community features to promote the product further.

Research

We looked at some of their competitors in order to see the kind of content they had and how they presented it in order to get some inspiration.

Planning

First, we each created sketches of our initial ideas. From this, we picked our favorite elements of each and then created mock-ups before finally creating the web site in HTML/CSS.

Final Piece

The final micro site is available at:

Documentation for this unit is available as a PDF in the sidebar on the right.

Review

This was an interesting project to work on and we were able to successfully create two professional web site that meet web standards and provide a positive user experience. The group worked well together and I'd happily work with any of them again.
